one of the greatest songs ever written

the beatles
When I was born in '61, they already had a hit
And they worked so hard, and they, made it joe
they really worked really good, and they deserved
all their success
And they earned it, yes they did,
they didn't buy their respect

And everybody wanted to be like them
everybody wanted to be the beatles
And I really wanted to be like him but he died
the legendary rock group did?

Like a magical fariy tale that's hard to believe
But it really did happen they were live and shook the world
God bless them for what they've done

When I was born in '61, they already had a hit

CONFESSION

Any one who knows me well, knows that I CAN NOT STAND the Jonas Brothers. i don't understand them, their music, or what it is about them that make six year old girls use the phrase "they are so hot!" they seem to attract females of all ages. many of my friends are mega fans. but no matter how hard i try to understand there song "year 3000", or see past the fact that they made a cover of a Beatles classic and put it on a target commercial, or studied their faces to find what is so "hot" about them, i still have not found i reason to be a fan. i have been out spoken about how ridiculous i think they are and the obsession of them. I mean come on, look and the music that we have had before their time. they don't even hold a candle to some of the greats and still people buy back packs with their face on it.
but now i have a confession.
the other day i was reading Kella's blog, when a song began to play that she added, it was very calm, had a catchy tune, and was all around delightful to listen to. before the song is over i decided that i like it and would like to know who sings it. i scrolled to the top of the page and i see "love bug" by the Jonas Brothers........i had been hit. i found myself enjoying their song. i sat there quietly by myself trying to figure out how i felt about my situation. the song ended and i had to come to terms with the fact that i wanted to hear it again. so yes my fellow bloggers i enjoy ONE of the Jonas brothers song, and i recommend you lesson to it as well. but does this mean that i am going to watch them on the Disney channel? No. does this mean that i would pay money to see them in concert? No. does this mean i will buy a CD? No. but i am a big enough person to admit when i have succumb to their music. i have not found a second song of theirs that i enjoy, and i still don't think it is right that the younger generation are growing up with the idea that they are the greatest boy band ever.
in the words of Joel McHale.."the Jonas Brothers are officially more popular than the Beatles among young girls who don't know who the Beatles are."

"take a long walk off a short peer"

"be careful driving right now, there are a lot of cars outside" this was said when Brookie and i were leaving the house at 1:30 in the afternoon

"I think Brookie will marry before steph"

"you have to suffer to be beautiful"

"oh!! you look so pretty!! stand next to the book shelf and ill take a picture!" what she says every Sunday when brookie and i have gotten ready for church

"no, sweetie you dont want small feet! your so tall you would look stupid if your feet were small" this is said to my sister becky everytime she refers to her large feet

"friends come and go but sisters are forever" this is said any time my sisters and i fight

"your cat is a hussy" this was said to my step sister after we thought her cat was preggers

"stand on one foot in the corner while you watch me vacume right"

"STOP FART'N AROUND!!!!" her way of saying please calm down

"that prayer went to the ceiling and now where else!!!" this was said after me and brookie hit eachother during family prayer

"HAHAHAHAHAHA O MY GOSH I CANT BREATH!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! (tears are streaming down her face) HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" this was her response when i told about the hike i went on for a date and how i feel on my face over 10 times.

mom: "Who am I smashing with the door?" me: "STEPHANIE!!!"

hallelujah its raining men!

My best friend Morgan and I have a tradition that we follow faithfully. and in this tradition if we know that the other one is sick or out of town or what ever the situation might be we send pictures to each other via email of men that we know the other one admires. many of gloomy days have been brightened by a simple email of my future husband or my pretend boyfriend. and tonight i am going to post some faces that make my heart smile. and i hope that who ever you are and where ever you are, you will see this and right away think happy thoughts and dream of a better tomorrow.

Oh Christian Bale. You know the saying "you never forget your first love"? nothing rings truer when it come to our relationship. i was only six years old when i first realized i loved this man, and he has stayed in my heart ever since.

The boys of the Brenden Leonerd Show. A short lived TV classic. pretty much just a much of boys in Vermont with a camera and ABC family airs there footage. we first met when i was 15 and i had had me tonsils removed, i was sad and lonely when this show appeared on my screen and i realized that not all is lost. if you have not seen this show i suggest you finish reading my blog then look it up.
i love you boys

Steven Colbert-I don't know wither its his wireless glass, his dedication to wrist awareness, or his part in his hair, but i love this man, but it is a different kind of love. obviously if he texted me tomorrow asking me to marry him i would ditch everything and run to him. but i would easily take a job as his hair dresser or even the person who brings his coffee. just so i can witness his comedic genius in person.

LaBron James...........enough said.

This is the man from Take Home Chef on TLC, i don't know his name but what i do know is that the man can cook and he is ridiculously good looking. i must admit that since the show i do not mind going to the grocery store. i spend the whole time acting like i don't know what to buy in hopes that he will come down the ile with his camera crew and come home with me and cook me an amazing meal. so please nameless hot guy from TLC come find me at Safeway, you wont be disappointed.

My Andy Samberg. you can see him Saturday nights on SNL. your breath will be taken away by his good looks, and your control of your bladder will be taken away by his comedy. Andy if you are out there reading this......can i be your girlfriend?

mmmmmm, Denzil, yummy. If you do not find this man attractive then you can just leave cuz when i think of the word "man" this is the image that comes to mind.

Brian Williams i have the biggest crush on this man! i could grow old with him and just sit on the porch swing and he can read to me out loud from To Kill A Mocking Bird. there is something about this man that makes me want to tell him all my secerets. i feel that i can trust him 100%

oh shia! you make me feel like a school girl!!! i must say though that i think the new shia needs a good kick in the pants! what happen to my boyfriend from Even Stevens?? oh those were the days. remember shia?? remember the time you tried to win an eating contest?? or when you found the Hanuka presents. those were simpler times. lets holds hands and go back to those days together shia, just me and you.

John Krasinski.... my dream co-worker. talk about the perfect man. Am I right ladies?!!
in all seriousness....marry me john

Listen up kids. this is Joel McHale and if you get the E channel then you need to watch the soup staring this man. it will change your life. he is funny and wears thin ties. yum. p.s. if any of you reading this know Carter Sorensen...this is Carter in 20 years.

ok Mr. Anderson Cooper. I want to marry him, have his children, raise them in a cottage in Belgium, while he travels the world interviewing important people, spreading awareness for some horrible disease, and visiting towns that have just been destroyed. and i would be 100% happy
