CONFESSION

Any one who knows me well, knows that I CAN NOT STAND the Jonas Brothers. i don't understand them, their music, or what it is about them that make six year old girls use the phrase "they are so hot!" they seem to attract females of all ages. many of my friends are mega fans. but no matter how hard i try to understand there song "year 3000", or see past the fact that they made a cover of a Beatles classic and put it on a target commercial, or studied their faces to find what is so "hot" about them, i still have not found i reason to be a fan. i have been out spoken about how ridiculous i think they are and the obsession of them. I mean come on, look and the music that we have had before their time. they don't even hold a candle to some of the greats and still people buy back packs with their face on it.
but now i have a confession.
the other day i was reading Kella's blog, when a song began to play that she added, it was very calm, had a catchy tune, and was all around delightful to listen to. before the song is over i decided that i like it and would like to know who sings it. i scrolled to the top of the page and i see "love bug" by the Jonas Brothers........i had been hit. i found myself enjoying their song. i sat there quietly by myself trying to figure out how i felt about my situation. the song ended and i had to come to terms with the fact that i wanted to hear it again. so yes my fellow bloggers i enjoy ONE of the Jonas brothers song, and i recommend you lesson to it as well. but does this mean that i am going to watch them on the Disney channel? No. does this mean that i would pay money to see them in concert? No. does this mean i will buy a CD? No. but i am a big enough person to admit when i have succumb to their music. i have not found a second song of theirs that i enjoy, and i still don't think it is right that the younger generation are growing up with the idea that they are the greatest boy band ever.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA O MY GOSH I CANT BREATH!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! (tears are streaming down her face) HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" this was her response when i told about the hike i went on for a date and how i feel on my face over 10 times.

My best friend Morgan and I have a tradition that we follow faithfully. and in this tradition if we know that the other one is sick or out of town or what ever the situation might be we send pictures to each other via email of men that we know the other one admires. many of gloomy days have been brightened by a simple email of my future husband or my pretend boyfriend. and tonight i am going to post some faces that make my heart smile. and i hope that who ever you are and where ever you are, you will see this and right away think happy thoughts and dream of a better tomorrow.

Oh Christian Bale. You know the saying "you never forget your first love"? nothing rings truer when it come to our relationship. i was only six years old when i first realized i loved this man, and he has stayed in my heart ever since.

The boys of the Brenden Leonerd Show. A short lived TV classic. pretty much just a much of boys in Vermont with a camera and ABC family airs there footage. we first met when i was 15 and i had had me tonsils removed, i was sad and lonely when this show appeared on my screen and i realized that not all is lost. if you have not seen this show i suggest you finish reading my blog then look it up.

Steven Colbert-I don't know wither its his wireless glass, his dedication to wrist awareness, or his part in his hair, but i love this man, but it is a different kind of love. obviously if he texted me tomorrow asking me to marry him i would ditch everything and run to him. but i would easily take a job as his hair dresser or even the person who brings his coffee. just so i can witness his comedic genius in person.

This is the man from Take Home Chef on TLC, i don't know his name but what i do know is that the man can cook and he is ridiculously good looking. i must admit that since the show i do not mind going to the grocery store. i spend the whole time acting like i don't know what to buy in hopes that he will come down the ile with his camera crew and come home with me and cook me an amazing meal. so please nameless hot guy from TLC come find me at Safeway, you wont be disappointed.

Brian Williams i have the biggest crush on this man! i could grow old with him and just sit on the porch swing and he can read to me out loud from To Kill A Mocking Bird. there is something about this man that makes me want to tell him all my secerets. i feel that i can trust him 100%

now bloggers it seems that it must be a law that if a women gives birth to two children who are both either female or male. the women MUST dress the children in the same clothes. ergo, my mother dressed us alike. and do to the years of this matching torture i can not leave the house if brookie and i are even wearing the same color. the damage is just that severe.

Sister act part I

Dear Bloggers,
I would like to introduce you to my other half. Her name is Tiffany Brooke Steinepreis, aka Brookie. She is my younger sister, and do to the fact that she does not have a blog I have taken it open it my self to introduce her to you. Before i begin it is important to note that she is not my only sibling i have two older sisters and an older brother who I love VERY much but this post is dedicated to Brookie.this is the fam. Angie is the oldest she is in the strips, Becky is next she is in pink, and the kid behind the plant is none other than James. we are an American Family.

This is part one out of a four part blog. The picture above is one of Brookie and I, She was born May 10th, I was 19 months old. Here is the deal people I was born first and I was given the name Stephanie, 19 months later my mother had another baby and named that one Tiffany. are you seeing where i am going with this?? IT'S THE SAME NAME!!!! Stephanie and Tiffany. talk about a bad Disney made for TV movie about twins and how their parents gave them names that rhyme. But folks when the two children are not twins and are clearly two different people it is not cool to rhyme their names. so don't do it. So before "Tiffany" even turned a year old we were all calling her Brookie.

Now Brookie and I have shared a room since the day she was born until the day i moved out, so about 17 years, and we have done everything together from road trips to Beaver OK, to strolling stings. this however does not mean we are anything alike.

1st example: as a child brookie had the smile of an angel, while i looked like the demon child

2nd example: Brookie was always pleasant and nicely dressed. mean while I had a difficult time understanding why we wear clothes, and even how we wear clothes Yes my underwear is on backwards, and the music is upside down......that's how i roll

Last Brookie does not have a single competitive bone in her body. As long as everyone is happy than she is happy. As for me, I have a different view

Brookie and I at some arcade park. She is the one in the blue just shooting the breeze (what the crap is on her head?) while I have my "game face" on looking like i am ready to tare into a piece of meat.

We all have are differences. but that's what makes us "unique". I think my mother said it perfectly when I asked her why Brookie has cute blond curls and why I had strange bald spots at age 5. she simply replied..."every one has their own thing that makes them pretty, and when you get older i am sure you will have a full head of hair"
